Crossroads opened in February of 2007 in Duanesburg, NY as Crossroads Gallery for the Arts & Healing. The vision was to create a sacred place filled with beautiful & unique gifts along with information on topics such as All~Natural Healing Modalities & alternative Spiritual Paths. The vision materialized to fulfilment and much more in the past 8 years, including a relocation to the Downtown Schenectady Pedestrian Walkway known as Jay Street in 2013. Easily accessed by the Clinton Street Public Parking Lot right off of State Street near Proctor's Theater, we are settling into our new home and are filled with joy & gratitude to be able to offer customers both 'old & new' a larger variety of wonderful items. Whether you're a newly awakened Seeker, or simply searching for a special gift, Come see for yourself what everyone is talking about! The wonderful smells & positive energy are always free!
Blessings on Your Journey,
Elisabeth Rolfe, Proprietress
Born and raised in Schoharie County, NY, I always had a connection to the spiritual aspects of Nature, and somehow seemed to sense from a young age that there was more to the world than meets the eye. As a teenager I began to read and search for meaning in the religion I was taught and always questioned traditional ways and values. After living in Europe in the early 1980s and becoming a Mother at a very young age, my life changed in many ways and my true spiritual journey began. Today I am Mom to 3 beautiful children, 2 daughters, grown & on their own and a son, who is just entering the teenage years. They are the joy of my life and have taught me so much about myself, and still do every day. The manifestation of Crossroads was always a dream, and my journey here included several years as a bartender, as a landlord in the Historic Stockade District of Schenectady, completing an AAS Paralegal Degree at SCCC as a single~parent and 10 years within NYS Government before the vision was able to materialize. I am so blessed to be able to Follow My Bliss every day and could not do it without those who contribute their energy to its continuation. To you I am forever grateful! Blessed Be!
