Our continuing study of the body's energy system using the book, Chakras & Their Archetypes, by Ambika Wauters.

This month we move up the spectrum of light to the Third Eye or Brow and the 6th Chakra, working with the energy of the full moon, we will create sacred space to safely look at the emotional aspects of the Third Eye, the 2nd of the upper or spiritual realms. Using sound, meditation, group discussion and ritual we will explore & bring balance to the Archetypes of this energy center. Our special guest this month is Chris Melco, Native American spiritualist, flutist, intuitive and healer who will guide us in opening our third eye thru sound and meditation.

Please read the chapter on the 6th chakra prior to class.

Chakra Beading and Meditation Workshop:

Natural gemstone energies can aid us in achieving many personal goals, from physical healing to manifesting abundance in our lives. This workshop will focus on the use of gemstones to balance our chakras. Participants will create a bracelet, necklace, or prayer string using stones that draw energy to each of the different chakras. There will be plenty of room for personal creativity, and no experience is necessary.

Once the pieces are completed, participants will have the chance to engage in a guided meditation. The meditation begins with deep breathing and relaxation, and then walks through each of the chakras. You will work together with your stones to align your chakras and create a balanced flow of energy throughout your body.
